Scholarship Opportunity for Architecture Students at College of the Desert

The American Institute of Architects, California Desert Chapter, is delighted to announce architecture student scholarships aimed at supporting the education of aspiring architects from the Coachella Valley. This scholarship opportunity is specifically available for students enrolled in the Architecture and Environmental Design program at the College of the Desert.

About the Scholarship:

This scholarship program is established in honor of Florence A. Hagstrom, Hon. AIA, who served as the Executive Director of the AIACD chapter from 2006 to 2023. Florence has been an esteemed member of the AIA since 1995 and is an alumna of the College of the Desert. The scholarship aims to carry forward her legacy of dedication to the field of architecture and education.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for consideration for the COD Scholarship, students must:

  1. Be enrolled in the Architecture and Environmental Design program at the College of the Desert.
  2. Complete a COD Scholarship Application through the AwardSpring platform using your mycod.us email credential by the specified deadline.

Selection Process:

All submitted COD scholarship applications will undergo an eligibility and selection process based on criteria established by the donor/organization providing the scholarship funds.

Notification and Acceptance:

Successful recipients of the COD scholarship will be notified via their MyCOD email during the Summer 2024 term. The email notification will include details on the next steps to accept the scholarship.

  2. Complete the COD Scholarship Application through the AwardSpring platform using your mycod.us email credential before the deadline.
